Our development team has invested a substantial amount of time improving the underlying processing and database engine structures of DVMAX. These improvements will increase the speed of common tasks by up to three times! This means you can throw more at DVMAX, connect more terminals and lab equipment and be confident that DVMAX has the processing power to keep a busy practice running smoothly. Faster Processing: DVMAX is now up to three times faster in some areas. We now provide support for 64 Bit and multiple processors allowing greater processing speeds for practices that need to manage a very large number of records.
More Tools for the Remote Veterinarian
DVMAX 7.5 brings you faster, more efficient remote processing with a powerful new synchronization feature. Introducing DVMAXSync, a remote processing functionality that allows the remote veterinarian to easily keep client and patient records and invoices up-to-date. “One-Click” Synchronization: DVMAXSync allows the remote veterinarian to update patient records with “one click”. This new synchronization feature automatically updates records changed in the field with your main server. DVMAXSync’s “one click” process lets satellite clinics, remote veterinarians and equine specialists working away from their clinic synchronize records easily, quickly and confidently. DVMAXSync replaces the original Remote Processing (RP) functionality in DVMAX. Batch Finish Remote Invoices: DVMAX now lets you batch process unfinished invoices created in the field by remote workstations. The “one click” process ensures all invoices are up-to-date in the main practice.
Greater Flexibility For Your Practice
We have added, rebuilt and enhanced a number of key DVMAX features that will translate to improved performance and ease of use in your practice. These include features such as:
Boarding: Boarding has been totally revamped and includes a redesigned web-enabled interface and a host of new features such as allowing multiple animals in a cage, the ability to search for open cages and a new “check in” feature when animals arrive.
Improved Label Printing: DVMAX now provides greater flexibility with label printing. A new Serial to Ethernet setup means Dymo label printers no longer have to be attached to the local workstation.
Improved Credit Card Processing: Many improvements and upgrades have been made in the DVMAX Credit Card processing feature. These improvements will help speed processing.
DVMAXLink Large Lab Support and DICOM Viewing: The new DVMAXLink software brings smoother, faster integration between DVMAX and lab diagnostic equipment, including Abbott: CellDyn, Aeroset, Architect and ADVIA Hematology, and DICOM imaging technologies through MWL support.
Disconnect Your Lab Instruments: DVMAX now provides the ability to disconnect your lab instruments from your terminals using a serial-ethernet box. Now you can untether your lab equipment from main terminals and locate them in your clinic wherever it is most convenient.
Improved Lab Equipment Integration: The Heska Data Capture Utility (DCU) improves integration with DVMAX and lab equipment such as the Heska HemaTrue, Heska DRI-CHEM and I-Stat.
Digicare and DVMAX: DVMAX now supports and is able to integrate Digicare Animal Health systems including the LifeWindow 6000 series, LifeWindow Lite series and CentralVue 4 and 9 channels.
Help: Help is now accessed through our web-based Help system that includes a full document resource and user forums.
