Job Description:
The Tier 1 Support Technician’s primary duty is managing support
requests received via telephone or from our web support interface for
the DVMax Veterinary Practice Management Program.
The Tier 1 Support Technician reports to the Tier 2 Support Manager.
Job Requirements:
1. The Tier 1 Support Technician is expected to have completed a minimum
technical (2 year) college degree program or have equivalent experience
in a Veterinary practice using DVMax.
2. Receive calls for technical support and contact Clients of Sneakers
Software to provide them with technical support for DVMax.
3. Ability to read, write and speak the English language clearly.
4. Ability to extract desired result from a client and provide them a
means for achieving it.
5. Excellent listening skills.
6. Ability to type 45wpm
7. Good grammar skills and clear speech
8. Operate a Windows computer for email, instant messaging, web browsing,
word processing and operating the DVMax program.
9. Work 1 weekend on-call shift per month. This shift includes an 8-11pm
EST Friday shift coupled with an 8-11pm EST Saturday shift.
10. Work holidays within a rotating on-call schedule with other Tier 1
Support Technician’s.

Software
Trainer
Sneakers Software is currently hiring a Software Trainer for DVMAX Software.
We are looking for detail oriented individuals who are able to work on
their own. Trainers are taught to 'transfer' and/or 'create' new datafiles
for use at new installation sites of DVMAX Software. Onsite Trainers teach
clinic staff to use DVMAX Software over 4 or more days of training and
installation onsite. You will learn to use all features of DVMAX and to
assess the needs of new clinics and implement these features as necessary.
Requirements:
-Travel as needed - 17 days a month
-Veterinary Experience - 1 year or more
-DVMAX Experience - 1 year or more
-Typing - 60wpm+
Leadership Abilities
*You will be in charge of installs and need an authoritative demeanor
and confident manner.
Excellent Verbal Skills
*Public Speaking - you will be speaking in front of groups of 1 to 50
*Phone training - you will also do some training over the phone and need
to be able to communicate clearly on conference calls
Multi-Tasking
*You will typically have three trainings a month and need to be organized
Customer Service
*Although it's own department at Sneakers - our customers are our livelihood
and you must be efficient in maintaining contact with your own installs
prior to their installation.
Self-motivated
*You will be a salary employee, however, you will work from home and need
to be able to monitor your own time to make sure all tasks assigned are
completely on time.
Preferred:
College Degree - BA or higher preferred
*Management, Human Resources, Computer Sciences or Teaching a plus
MS Office or equivalents
*Excel, Word, Entourage, Outlook
Public Speaking Experience
Training Experience on DVMAX Software in your own clinic
Windows XP Experience
Mac OSX Experience
