Happy New Year! As announced on December 21, 2012, IDEXX Laboratories acquired Sneakers Software, Inc. and its DVMAX software products. The partnership brings together two innovative companies that share a common vision of providing medically-focused client and practice management systems with the power to drive practice growth.
IDEXX would like to reiterate our commitment to the DVMAX product line. As part of the acquisition, we also welcomed Paul Greenman and the DVMAX team to IDEXX. We will work directly with our product development group to continue to advance DVMAX to meet your evolving long-term needs.
Upcoming Conference Notes
DVMAX currently has staff attending the AAEP (American Association of Equine Practitioners) conference in Anaheim, CA that is being held from Dec. 2 - 4, 2012, Booth # 310.
We have decided to focus on the AAEP this year and will not be attending the CVC West that is being held at a similar time from Dec. 5 - 9th in San Diego. Each year DVMAX attempts to attend a cross section of conferences in most of the major geographic areas in the US and Canada. If you'd like us to attend a specific meeting, please let your account manager know.

New User Forum Focusing on New Features - We want your input!
DVMAX hopes to receive better and more consistent feedback on new product features. We also want to tighten the feedback cycle and the length of time it takes to get features into your practice. Help us build you the new features you want, the way you want them.
The DVMAX Features Forum will:
1. Ask you to tell us a bit about the features you would like to see, or vote for feature proposals submitted by other users.
2. Review, and at times, demo new features before they ship. Get involved in the design process, give use suggestions to make the feature straightforward and easy-to-use.
3. Provide a feedback system on features. Sometimes we have to change the way a feature works because the technology supporting it changes.
While we cannot always deliver on every feature request, your comments, notes and feedback in our Features Forum will help us build a list of the features you want most and determine how best to allocate our resources to bring you what you need. New Account Managers at DVMAX
DVMAX is pleased to introduce our two new account managers, Halliday Donaldson and Christina Redwine.
Halliday’s 13 years experience as a Veterinary Technician include working with DVMAX in a wide variety of veterinary practice settings, with a strong specialty surgery concentration, as well as experience in veterinary referral and specialty clinics. In addition to her technical experience with DVMAX, she has worked as a sales representative in the veterinary products industry.
Christina has 10 years experience as a Veterinary Technician, including several years with a specialty practice using DVMAX.

The boarding module has been totally revamped with a redesigned web interface and a host of new features that increase overall functionality.You can now make boarding appointments right on the boarding screen, add a status to the boarding appointment, perform setup and room changes directly from the boarding grid and add multiple animals to the same boarding cage.

DVMAX and Cubex have signed an agreement to partner and integrate their two systems. This partnership provides access to Cubex’s advanced pharmacy and supply management solutions and in turn will add new supply and inventory management features to DVMAX.
”Integration with Cubex has been a long-term goal for DVMAX, and one that we know our common users will take advantage of immediately”, said Paul Greenman, CEO. “By providing the Patient interface quickly, users will find that admitting a patient will activate that patient for Cubex in seconds. The billing interface, being developed as a second phase of the integration project, will allow DVMAX and Cubex to coordinate billing information and assure that no medications or inventory are consumed without proper billing being applied.”
